nene and snoopy arrived safely in jerusalem last monday, october 27 at 12mn (israel’s time) but got home at around 2am. bukod sa taxi moments ni nene (see chat transcript number 1) eh may eMOment din si snoopy. hahah. pagdating sa hong kong mejo nabigla pala ito at nagtanong kung asan siya. dyaskeng mokong – nung nalamang asa hong kong eh gustong magpabili ng giordano shirt! :)

asan tayo nene?

asan tayo nene?

so, ayun – after 8 hours in hong kong’s confusing airport they went to israel and slept… “cold and tired” yun ang pakiramdam nila because it was 8 degrees there and they didn’t have heavy clothes *ahem papa ahem*.  see snoopy again:

… i think they’re settling fairly well – today’s nene’s first day at school and i know she’ll do great! i just worry about snoopy being left alone as he might ransack the fridge or do something silly. hahahah.

whatever snoopy, you can’t get out of the house dahil baka malamang TNT ka lang. :D

dapat tulog na ako – parang pagod ang aking katawan at heller, sabaw talaga ako. define disoriented. is is because of nene? to some extent, i am anxious to know how she is. oa as in – i have posted earlier (nyak! yesterday na pala yun) a transcript of her first day in the land faraway, but i want to hear more and make kamusta a zillion times over. i have left about 8 or so offline messages and am currently logged in ym so that she can ping me. i believe i just might not turn this lappy off until she signs in. hay…

henihoo – there is just so much blog material right now about the pre-departure, departure, and more postdeparture a.k.a. the remaining 364 days, still, of all these things, the topic i will be discussing in a while deserves merit: little snoopy.

it's free at last!

the 2008 birthday gift

[we just called it snoopy at first but he became little snoopy after nene's students gave her a bigger snoopy plush. ]

we got it the saturday after her birthday, and since saturdays are nene-neko lakwatsa days, our wandering feet led us for the nth time to sm molino’s tom’s world.

like most arcades, tom’s world has a variety of lame pincer machines (or claw machines) which beckon you to “capture” the cute stuffed dolls inside the glass cases only to lose them because of the weak grip of the machine. anyway, despite the risk of spending more money in the process of obtaining a plushie via the claw machine, we gave it a try. the rest they say is history – i won my first doll ever from the madaya machine which i’ve mentioned, and nene had her gift. :) hehe. guess she loved it really – hours after the win, snoopy had the privilege of gracing her friendster profile. the caption: free at last! she felt we’ve just liberated the snoopy from the snoopy-holding machine/s.

… and so he stayed – yes, he suddenly took on an anthropomorphic identity – in her room, then in the corner of her bookshelf. gathering dust snoopy was. then came big snoopy, and she remembered the little guy. took pictures of the big and small version together. then gathered dust together – hehe. her room is perennially dusty btw. lolz.

>> fast forward to october 25, 2008.

we were lounging in her bed, with me drumming up plans to sneak into israel undetected (hahaha. asa!) when snoppy caught my eye. a plan is conceived!

and so, unknown to the strict-baggage weight checker’s (a.k.a. papa) knowledge, we decided to sneak little snoopy to israel. voila! a TNT he will become. and so he did. successfully. wearing only his yellow jacket, without any food or shekel in hand, snoopy hid inside nene’s hand-carry, bravely.

the great escape from cavite

the great escape from cavite

was he successful? yes. undetected? no – papa saw him. hehe. and becasue i bet, he ate a whole lot and caused nene’s baggage to be a few pounds excess, so was he found.

but he flew… and is now immersing himself in the culture by acquainting himself with olives and cedars, and yes, the women. hahah.

snoopy will live to tell the tale of his adventure.

and he’ll watch over you-know-who.

‘nyt!
